The Shackles of Money - Ayush
What would you do if Money was no constraint?
If you didn't have to care about money and there was a steady supply of it to take care of your basic needs then how would you invest your time?
Would you travel more? Or read more or write? Would you love to spend more time talking to people or would you just Netflix and chill?
Iām not sure actually.
I would love to read a lot more I guess. Write a lot more.
Talk to people a lot more. Talk to people about what moves them, what gets them going. What do they think about the fundamental questions of life.
I would like to travel somewhat as well. To see the world in all its glory. To admire and absorb and appreciate human creativity and ingenuity around the world. Be it the pyramids of Egypt or the Northern Lights.
I would watch Netflix also yes :P
I would watch many more movies and TV series because they are another brilliant platform of expression of human creativity, vision and execution.
I guess the pursuit of money with my regular day job gives me a good stable platform to explore all my interests which may not directly yield good monetary outcomes. And the fun and challenges that I enjoy at my day job is an added bonus that I feel very lucky to have.
Although, if I had an option, that is not what I would willingly choose.
If there was indeed a stable supply of money then I would like to cut back on the time and energy I spend on the job I do to pay my bills and explore my various other interests.
