Hey friend 👋
Important Announcement 📢
Registrations for the September edition of the Indie Masterminds Program ends in 3 days.
You should join if you want to -
Start a side hustle
Build your startup
Grow your business
Then you should definitely join.
I love this quote from Naval -
There is no skill called business.
Nobody can teach you business, that’s why there is no curriculum in the indie masterminds program.
Instead there are live focused conversations around each members’ business challenges at their particular stage - hot seats.
We have members who are just starting their journey, building their first side hustles, and there are also people who are scaling their businesses.
A broad range of perspectives helps all of us grow together and benefit from each other’s experiences.
As one of the members recently said - “this might be the most important decision you make for your business”
So here’s the deal -
If you think you can find value in the program, and if you’re serious about your growth, then consider joining us -
Last date to join is 31st August and there are only 3 spots left.
You can check the "How It works" section on the landing page to find out all the details.
And while you're there, you can also check out the honest reviews from other members.
And hey - there’s also a 30 days money back guarantee, so if you don’t find value in the program, you can get a full refund!
Now, onto today's topic -
I'm fat.
There's no other word for it. I weigh 93 Kilograms and my height is 5'10". The technical term for it is obese and my BMI is in a range I'm too afraid to calculate.
But back in June this was worse, I used to weigh 101 Kilograms. That's when I hired a personal fitness coach for myself and got serious about my fitness.
I wrote a post about how I did it and the 3 business lessons I learned from it.

Trung Phan is an amazing writer, do check this thread -
I often feel like I discover new ideas as I’m writing a piece. I always thought this was peculiar to me, but just read this piece from Every which captured this sentiment so beautifully, do check it out -
“You can certainly capture an idea by writing it down. But you can also explore an idea by writing it down, and the results may surprise you. The fact that the results can surprise you is surprising in itself. Why would typing out a thought change what you think? “
The Labor Theory of Value argues that the value of a product or a service is determined by the amount of labor required to produce it. If so, something that takes 100 hours to produce is worth 10x more than something that takes 10 hours.
One issue with the Labor Theory is it often causes people to work much harder than they need to, out of a belief that hard work is inherently good. But here, I’d like to answer a conundrum: In startups, why do the founders receive such a disproportionate percentage of equity?
From David Perell -
Are you a procrastinator?
Then you will love this Ted Talk from Tim Urban of WaitButWhy.
